The Barrie Music Festival Association ( www.barriemusicfestival.com ) is very grateful for the support of the Retired Teachers of Ontario, District 17 (Simcoe).  Without their generous assistance for the past three years, these great new projects could not have come to fruition! 
On behalf of all participants in the 2011 Festival of High School Dramas, we thank the RTO, District 17 (Simcoe) for their support in 2010!
 

How the Competitions works...
One performance of each high school drama will be attended and judged by a professional Adjudicator, and a detailed, written critique will be given to each school after their competition is finished.  A short workshop with the Adjudicator can be arranged if the Director wishes!

On a date and time to be announced, an Awards Ceremony will be held, and awards will be presented in a number of categories, including Best Production, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Actress, plus Honourable Mentions and Unsung Hero Awards.  As well, we hope to have a short presentation by each of the participating schools.
